    Gardeners Rest #13 ( 2018)

    And back to that 'nutty ' time of the year again. Back by popular demand!!

    After a misty start to the day Nicos wandered through the hamlet, basket on arm searching for ivy for her festive wreaths.
    Gazing across the millpond she spotted a couple Grapes hanging up the fairy lights outside the Gardeners Rest.
    "Oi come over here and open up will you?" called burnie " we need to get this lot plugged in and check if they are working"

    Nicos delved deep into her pocket and pulled out an enormous old key and smiled to herself.
    "I wonder what antics peeps will get up to this year?"
    She was glad she'd lit the woodfires earlier and the pub would by now be lovely and warm inside

    "Here ya go...I'll put the kettle on , help yourselves to a pint -I'm not sure where the barmaid/man has got to"

    From beneath the bar came a gentle tapping sound....

      Am I the first in?
      it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

                    Bother carrying any money with them, but unfortunately he had forgot to put any money in his sporran, so looking at Nicos and Lumpy he asked.......
