Ahh, I wondered where BM had got to.
January 1st:
Just a few scrawny leeks near the hotbin
Leafless white currant and apple, broad beans in bucket 12, fennel in bucket 34 and the square pot, strawberries on the fence.
Spinach and mizuna int eh growhouse, brokali, carrots, swede and corn salad int eh carrot cage (minus its net).
The nets on the raised beds at the back are covering last summer's calabrese in an attempt to give it a little protection. It seems to be surviving. There is a bucket of parsnips in between. Strawberries on the shelf and PSB near the fence.
Blueberries and carrots with strawberries over in the fruit cage (also minus its net), mooli and spring cabbage under the net, kohlrabi, spinach and beetroot under the cloches, plus some marguerites I am attempting to over-winter. Herbs on the path. Strawberries in the hanging basket and bucket 19 contains kale.A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP. - Leonard Nimoy

This means, of course, that I'm going to have to post a picture of mine soon, and suffer the humiliation...
I always kind of lose grip of the plot at the peak of harvest, and pick up the reins again when the sap starts to rise in the new year and the vegetation round the hedge bottoms dies down enough to find all the milk-bottle cloches and blown away pots.... Plus I mulch with cardboard and plastic so the place looks like a tip. C'est la vie.

This isn't a competition for tidiest plot, 1Bee, its just an incentive to take your own photos every month, so that you can look back on your own progress and pat yourself on the back (or not!).
For the first time, I'm posting an overall view of my garden, taken from the bathroom window. This means you don't see the weeds or the higgledy piggledy paths and beds. They're my little secret
