  • Accidental Perennial cabbage!!

    Last year I grew some cabbage in the GH and left a couple to flower for seeds. A couple of long stalks formed and I left them through the winter to see what happened next.
    I now have cabbage sprouting along the stalks and several seedling cabbages - and I've been picking individual leaves for the pot for weeks.

      They look really healthy, I wondering if the cabbage my Portugese friends gave me might be the perrenial type. Will have to take a look at it...

            Something else too - a few weeks ago I took some of the side shoots and put them in water - and they rooted. So now I can plant out new cabbages Magic cabbage
            I think they were Hispi but not 100% sure

              Hispi are pointed if that's of any help..........
