Although I see a number of courgettes about ready.
I have 3 outdoor cucumber plants still far off cucs
9 courgette plants about ready to crop, including ufo ones.
I normally only do yellow but for some reason one looks green, weird !

I have resown 6 seeds for continuation but strangely none have appeared

I'm not growing cucumbers, but the courgettes are growing like crazy. I've had 6 off of 2 defender plants, with loads more on the way, including two 8-balls, which is exciting because I've never eaten anything other than the standard supermarket ones. These are much tasier!

None yet from my 2 courgette plants but can see tiny ones developing. We are pretty far north so probably a bit later.

My totals to date:-

Courgettes - 4 + 2 = 6

Cucumbers - 12 + 1 = 13 (these are Beit/Beth Alpha mini cucumbers - just the right size for one.)

Nothing yet, but just noticed a first courgette on one of my 3 plants today. The cucumbers have got yellow flowers and tiny spiky things. I assume they are the cucumber..... about 1-2 inch long and very prickly. Never grown them before.

Cucumbers 14 + 2 = 16

Doing much better this year than last. I picked less than this all year in 2017.
