I still have lots of flowers but we have been lucky to manage one meal worth of beans per fortnight. Certainly not enough for wine or freezing

Sulking now - Berry just says runner beans - fresh and young though

I've made some cracking spiced runner bean pickle this evening - will have a look at Berry for the wine recipe for tomorrow's bucket full of beans!

I'm having a night similar to Two_Sheds, except a) it's drink not bad temper, plus the involvement of an unattended chip-pan and b) I don't have a spare room to hide in

Anyhoo...

Elderberry & Blackberry wine is gorgeous, but vastly improved by the addition of a banana. It may sound odd but we tried it last year (fron a recipe) & it was fab

Evening MOM. My friend burned her hand with her deep fryer yesterday (don't move your fryer when it is full of hot oil folks) and she is now bandaged up and off work! Hope you are in less difficulty

No-one hurt Shirley, thank god, but we could all have been up in smoke, and the house stinks Actually that's a lie, someone will be waking up with extremely bruised shins tomorrow, but he didn't notice at the time I was booting them
