                  Assuming I'm allowed fruit also it'll be the following:

                  tomatoes - cos they're lovely and the smell reminds me of my childhood holidays at grandparents;
                  courgettes - all different shapes and colours these days, look great, dead easy and taste brill;
                  strawberries - so much better than the tastless ones in the supermarket in January!
                  lettuce - could live off salads so need to grow plenty so long as it's a good mix of colour and texture;
                  French beans - so nice fresh out the garden and, like the strawberries so much better than ones you can buy.

                  Shame it's only 5, could go on for ages!

                  Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

                  Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

                    Tomatoes,
                    Onions,
                    Peas,
                    Raspberries,
                    Brocolli.
                    I grow all of these so its easy to like them. No comparison with the flavour of shop bought ones.

                    And when your back stops aching,
                    And your hands begin to harden.
                    You will find yourself a partner,
                    In the glory of the garden.

                      There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

                                So a couple of weeks later than intended, work has commenced on my anti-ratty tunnel today.

                                Dismantling the existing structure was a lot harder than I expected, a lot of stuck screws that no amount of WD-40 would liberate! So a lot of action for my sharp mate Stanley, my hand axe and my...
