hi all,
A couple of questions please:
1/ TANGERINE: My young tree which I bought last year has lost about a third of it's leaves over the past couple of months.
As they're evergreen, I wondered if they should grow now ones as it gets warmer ?
There are about 6 fruits on it at the moment, about golfball size which are slow in ripening, due to (I hope) a bad season last year,,,, having said that (see previous post) a did open a couple of fallen ones, & they seem o.k inside.
---------------:::---------------
2/ NECTARINE: The flowers of my young nectarine are dying off,,,,,, I didn't seem to have as many flowers as last year & they certainly didn't last as long as last year. I did manage to pollonate them. I used a tiny paintbrush this year. Last year I used a bit of cotton wool.
Do you think I should worry ?
---------------:::----------------
3/ LEMON: I have three lemons on this young tree, which are just ripening from last year.
It looks as if one half of the tree has died off,,,,,,
but has put out another branch (about 1 inch from the soil) which is now almost as tall as the original tree.
Has that side of the tree actually died ? Can I lop it off ? Should I get flowers/fruit on the new twig this year ?
----------------:::----------------
One of my blueberry's has flowers on it,,,,, a bit early I think,,, it could do with going outside as soon as the winds die down a bit.
I have a couple of new baby ones this year,,,, bit too young to fruit I rekkon.
Hope life is treating you all well.
