New Apple Tree In Bud!

I have a conundrum. I planted in a container around two months ago a dwarf Gala apple tree. Now I know apple trees produce flower buds in the spring followed hopefully by apples in the autumn but this new tree is now showing buds. Is this normal for a newly planted apple tree?

it's just a victim of our daft weather, when winter comes, the leaves/buds will drop, and you will get normal budding/fruiting next year, make sure there is a strong branch framework to support the fruit, if not you will need to grow them on, forgoing any fruit until the structure is there, then it is set up for its life, so it is worth putting the effort in, I learned this from FB on here and he was spot on, I now have over 12 fruit trees producing well thanks to his advice for great pollination, if there are no other apple trees to help pollination near you, a crab apple works wonders if you are short of space, so fresh apples and crab apple jelly...lovely..

Thank you for the advice. Concerning pollination, I have a Braeburn which is also newly planted like the Gala and a dwarf Bramley being delivered this week.
