Do dwarf varieties of veg mature quicker?

Probably a daft question but I am just planning more sowing, bearing in mind last frost dates. I have dwarf runners but don't want them reaching maturity before I can plant them.

I have not found that with my mini veg, however environmental factors might make them bolt, such as hot dry spells.

I did find all my varietys did mature at the same time, same day in the same week, so lots of Calabrese and mini Caul's to be eaten as once.
