  • Little Bit Of A Long Shot

I am thinking of putting some more chooks down the allotment to actually see what happens. I have double strengthened my run and feel confident that no creature could get through unless assisted by a human (as last time really).

I am after some light sussex fertile hatching eggs. Has anybody got any I could have? Ideally 12 15 so I have the best chance of getting a decent amount of hens. I am happy to pay the postage.

If you haven't got light sussex but you do have another good laying breed - let me know. I am open minded.

    Cheers!

perhaps some brown Isa's so as to reduce the theft appeal and they are brilliant layers
Never test the depth of the water with both feet

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory....

Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

not sure what the eggs taste like, but how about some velosoraptors? They are likely to give any would be thieves and reprobates a run for their money. I know they are not poultry but im pretty sure there is nothing in the allotment act that says you cant have genetically reproduced dinosaurs on your plot?

Bluebelles? I know I keep harping on about them, but they're pretty and being hybrids, they lay a lot of eggs. Goodness knows what any off-spring will look like though!!!!
