  • New home needed for bereaved chicken

    Hi,
This is a long shot I know, but I am looking for a new loving home for my bereaved pet chicken. Her mate died last week and she is very lonely. They really need company but for a variety of reasons we don't want to get more chickens....foxes being the main problem. She is 2 years old, still laying and quite tame. In good health and very pretty. She is a Pepperpot from the omlet
company. If anyone can help me out I wopuld be very grateful. We have food and bedding for her and I can deliver .
    many thanks
May all our seeds germinate and grow

After the hassles we have had getting the new two accepted TOH would throw a fit if I offered a home!

      Sorry!

Hope you get her settled somewhere soon

      Regards

I would love to offer her a home but we are rather far away! My dad is in your area tomorrow and I asked him if he would bring a chicken home for me... the reply was unprintable sorry.

I would love to offer her a home, but I think I'm a bit too far away in Suffolk. I've got two lonely Warrens who have lost their other run-mates to a fox. Run fox proof now though.

Sorry to hear of your bereavement, would love to take on more hens, but too far away in Tunbridge Wells I fear.
Good luck with finding a good home.
            best wishes

Similar replies to above - we're in Suffolk (still not very close) and would love to have her if you're stuck but preferably not till early Sept. We have three girls at the moment and the odd one out is lonely I think.
