Hi all, I have just purchased 12 ground creeping stonecrop mixed (sedum). I am contemplating between planting these in pots vs ground. I gave a slim border in my front garden that has some bulbs planted by prev owner (daffs and tulips, we moved in last summer). Nothing grew on this bed last summer. The patch gets good sun for 6 hrs during summer. I was wondering if I should plant my sedum plugs in this bed so it will spread and give me good ground cover. Any suggestions or ideas - bed or containers? Would I be ok to leave the spring bulbs in the bed? Your suggestions are welcome.
