My beans that I planted out like a tropical yankee fool hate me. I hear them muttering about the ones still in the greenhouse, still un-yellowed and warm and how they plot their revenge by finally dying spetacularly, just when it warms up again.

I might as well plant all my seeds again, I don't know the plants willl hold out another 2 weeks, they are ready to go out now I should have planted more broadies, instead the the delicate, but delicious frenchies.

I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Blame that unpronounceable volcano that went up. Gonna be a cool year. I just hope the prediction that the other one doesn't come true.

Molted my winter fur, face and head, went out and wished I hadn't. Thank god for who ever invented woolly hats. Shame you can't go anywhere in a balaclava without people hitting the alarms or getting funny looks from the security guards.

HW you sound like a friend of mine. He could stand in the arctic with a wind chill of -60 and all he would say is "It's a bit brisk today". I hate him his heating bills are almost nothing.
