I leave the bubblewrap in all year, although it protests
it refracts light in the summer so I don't need to put shading up, without stopping the light IYKWIM

As Thelma says, I also leave it on all year round but did have to put shading on the roof as well as my seedlings got fried.

I gave up on bubblewrap. All I did was end up with a very cold insulated greenhouse compared to a very cold uninsulated one.

Leave insulation in all year? Recipe for mould on windows and less light.

I just use a small plastic greenhouse inside the glass greenhouse for fragile plants with a heater underneath form March. In our local climate, anything not frost hardy will not survive in a greenhouse without a heater before early/Mid May.. which kind of defeats the purpose of one.

(I place the paraffin heater on the ground under the plants..
