Winter veggies

Inspiration needed please!
I seem to lose the plot a bit in winter The GHs have a few straggly old leftover plants and some struggling lettuce. There are leeks, PSB, sprouts and kale in the ground, but what else can I grow to eat fresh through winter - and sow now?

I've just sown some "pixie" cabbage to use as Spring greens. Never tried those before. Durham Early are brilliant in the GH.

Winter radish - Black Spanish etc,
Mustard - Green in the Snow
Cabbage - Emperors Savoy

Chard sown now does well in my tunnel so it should be OK in a greenhouse

At the end of this month I sow 'all year round' and 'Arctic king' lettuce into modules that get planted in my GH once the toms have finished.

Cavolo nero kale, cauliflowers, cabbage, pac choy, mizuna, red cabbage, chard, lettuce, chicory, radicchio, radish, angelica, watercress, fenugreek, agretti, Parisier carrots, onion, Hamburg parsley, turnip, broccoli raab, spigarielli Neapolitan broccoletti, salsify, tetragonia and baby spinach, endive, escarole, basil, parsley, rocket, borage, cat grass, lavender, lemon balm, origano, rosemary, sage, marjoram, thyme and many flowers.

I sow Duncan cabbage for early next year after I've lifted some more potatoes.

In late August in the greenhouse I sow Corn salad (aka mache, lamb's lettuce), rocket, some of their 4seasons radichio/lettuce mix, Sugarloaf chicory and Land cress.

Don't forget perennial spinach for early Spring greans.

Oh I forgot I fell for the blurb and bought 2 packets of mustard - Ruby Streaks and yellow streaks - they're sposed to taste a bit like new potatoes picked when small LOL we'll see! but they'll add a bit of colour if nothing else.

Just sown 14 types of cabbages.
Only about 10 seeds of each so at best, I'll grow 140 cabbages That's one a day for 3+ months.
Does anyone eat cabbage for breakfast?

There are lots of winter radish - some with unpronouncable? names.

140 eh,bare in mine,some for the wild life,some just curl up and die,you might just have enough for your needs,are we having another thread what to do with cabbage,like soup,stuff and roll bigger leaves with other veg,try some crisp cabbage for a snack or garnish,coalslaw,buttered cabbage,another thread coming on.
