  • Red Baron and Stuttgarter Onion Sets

What is the latest that I can plant my Red Baron and Stuttgarter Onion Sets out into my raised beds?

I’ve not been able to get anything done recently other than pottering and sowing seed indoors due to my herniated disc. They are stored in the potting shed currently.

I don’t want them to go to waste so am getting a bit concerned.

    Kind Regards Rob

In the past when I've not been able to get them planted. I've filled a seed tray and sat them in their to start growing. It just extends your time scale a bit. And planting them out with roots already started makes them more difficult for the blackbirds to pull out.

Looking at online planners, for Hull, you have most of April.

        Plenty of time

I’m definitely going to do this at the weekend, my daughter is going to help me, wether it be in the ground or into modules in the greenhouse, it will get done.

              Kind regards........Rob
