No sign of frost here at 8:45 this morning. It's possible that we got some and it disappeared before being hit by direct sunlight, but unlikely, and it didn't even feel particularly cold when I went out to remove the tarp from my raised bed.
Netweather still says it hit -1 but I'm not so sure it did. Tue/Wed, Wed/Thur and Sat/Sun are now the nights to watch out for, after that it should be mild and wet.
Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive
No frost here either - blue sky, sunshine.
Drew back the curtains, the sun streamed in and I found myself singing:-
Morning has broken
Like the first morning,
Black bird has spoken
Like the first bird.
Praise for the singing!
Praise for the morning!
Praise for them springing
Fresh from the Word! etc
White frost this morning, didn't sing about it though................

Frost here.
Wasn't I supposed to wait until after the frost was gone before planting outdoors?
Mostly seeds (though I do have a crop of broadbeans which were planted months ago and are flowering)...
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

You and your long range weather forecasts!! I saw very little frost, no snow and I filled up the car -no probs. Very sorry for those of you who did suffer though
That reminds me, is there still going to be a tanker driver strike? I only watch the good news.

Tatties are earthed, fleeced and tarped for the night, as we have got the next six nights of 2 degrees C. Broadies and peas take their chances and so will my fruit trees, except the figs who have zip up fleecy jackets
