I want to grow some of these pants around the chicken coop in the summer, keep the fly numbers down. I tried once from seed but failed, any hints and tips, Sarraceniac?

Sorry Lettuce. It won't work. Sarras, in common with most other insectivores, put out a smell to attract flies. They may trap a few - but they will also attract them so you could actually be the loser. If you want advice on growing from seed I can give you it (the usual way of propagation is by division because seed is difficult to germinate) but it won't help your problem. Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
