Mine is full of gooseberries -from last year- and last years rhubarb!!!!
1/3 full now- and the rest is newspaper as we don't know where we'll be after Xmas!

Oh, thank God Im not the only one who's no good at Yorkshire's. I blame the tins or the oven... or anything else I can think of 'cept meeself.

I used to be rubbish at yorkshires too, but i found the easiest recpie - works every time (so far anyway), even my mum who can't cook can make them!!!

I'd like to know that too - tried loads of "Foolproof" recipes, none of them are "Sarah-proof"!

Share please? I have tried so many different tins, so many different recipes - still no success unless Aunt Bessie comes to call. Even with the oven full pelt tonight I just couldnt get the fat to smoke well

Come on then......waiting......

2 eggs
300ml cold semi-skimmed milk
4oz strong white bread flour
salt & pepper

Bung everything in a bowl, mix together. Chill for about half an hour.
Pre-heat oven to 220c Bung in oven!


I use a silicone muffin tray with no fat, but you can use a normal tin with some hot fat in the bottom! Both work fine

Gary Rhodes reckons you should add an extra egg white, and that's worked for the OH, but didn't work for me
