My nearly three year old daughter and helper in the garden telling her grandad(my dad) today that " we grow really good plants in our garden"....I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

BBC iPlayer, ITVPlayer, 4oD et al, and with very very little buffering! I never get to watch Equestrian stuff on the telly (it's not important enough to be on when I'm in (or maybe I'm not important enough to be catered for! )), whatever, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the internet, my poota, and the ability to watch what I want, when I want, and to be able to converse with people (many of them Nutters! ), all over the world, for very little cost, via the internet - brill.

I have a list!
A ripe tom, no photo I scoffed it
Finally more rasps than I can shake a big stick at
Getting the nod from the council that I can put a tunnel on Plot 2, you are allowed a tunnel or a gh but I have got the goahead to have both ( and they are not taking into account the space that the apiary takes up) (Dear Satan, I have been a good girl this year and would like a mahoosive polytunnel for X***)
Getting some slabs delivered to the site and one of the men insisting on helping me put them into my plot cos I am a girl
A hunky new Latino lifeguard at the pool (wish I didnt swim so well)
That will do!Last edited by CaroltheCarrot; 01-08-2012, 09:08 AM.

Good job I am not a jumpy/easily scared person....
Picture this....
11pm last night and I decided I would go out to the garden to do a bit of slug spotting with subsequent dropping of same into salt....
It was black dark obviously and I was leaning down to a courgette plant growing underneath a post & rail fence that seperates my garden from a farmers field...
As I was bent over with my head down surveying the courgette flowers for slugs, I felt a tapping on my head from the field side of the fence
I quickly looked up to see who was there (at that hour!!) and there is Tabby (our playful cat) sitting on the fence quickly withdrawing her paw... She obviously thought it would be fun to tap my head for some reasonI dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
