yeah hallelujah,we have superfast fibre broadband. Was told to expect 54mb download speed but 98.66 registered on speedchecker. I'll be keeping an eye on what's what for a day or two.
Now all I need is Parcelforce to turn up.. It's taken from last wednesday to get a parcel picked up from Ikea Edinburgh to get up here. Really really not impressed.

Update on Mrs C not in as much pain, walking improving, doctor arranging a referral back to specialist, and this morning I've managed to pick her up a chair that will lift her and eject her, and if she gives me any trouble I will adjust the mechanism so it catapults he out the front door. Chair coming tomorrow and hopefully she feels brave enough to come down stairs for the day to sit in it.Last edited by Cadalot; 25-10-2016, 07:14 PM.

Cad, pleased to hear Mrs Cad is feeling a bit better today.
My Mum has one of those electric recliner/push you up chairs and she's always pressing the wrong button. One minute she's about to get up to fetch summat, she presses a button and she's flat on her back with her legs waving wildly.
Slight exaggeration but it is entertaining

It was a nice day here as well AP, I am wondering how We could possibly rent it out to VC and Co. did you get your washing dried ok?
As stated it was a nice day here and today I was having an eye test, and ofcourse this involves getting drops in the eyes, all the wet dull days we have here and I have an eye test on a beautiful sunny day, and yes the light hurt, once back home took the dog for a walk and again I had some of the apples from the crab apple tree I have told yopu about, and it really is a nice taste, also this evening I had to frame a poster of pokomon, or what ever they are called, for my daughters youngest, and I need to hide it from the other two who will be in early tomorrow, if they see it they will be wanting something similar, and not that I dont want to do it I dont have any material left. Well I wish you all a good night for those who like them enjoy your bacon, for those who dont WHY. Nicos keep that pack in the freezer and I might pop over to taste it. Goodnightit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Mornin Flon'all
Similar here too Flo.
Today looks like it just may be the day that we start to pull out some of the walls and insulation in the bathroom!
OH home all day...me too....guests gone away til tomorrow evening!...
So plenty of time to make a fair bit of noise, dust and mess , make good and clear up!
Well,that's the theory at least!
The original 1700s window sill and lintels are hidden, so , from past experience, they are either totally rotten , or replaced with concrete ,and need replacing ( big job), or stonkingly lovely chunks of oak.
Fingers crossed for the latter eh?
Have a great day peeps ....."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
Location....Normandy France
