Just a few words of advice for you - do not look up to watch the jets whizzing past whilst drinking a mug of coffee - it ends up down your cleavage
      Kettles on (again).........Any takers?

            Aaaaaaaaaarternooooooooon Peeps. Well as the song goes...;

            Ooops! I did it again!

Yup, more Chooks! That's me back up to 22 of the little time-wasters.

Hope those with ailments are on the mend? How did the show go, Hazel? You'll be an inspiration to the Shop's customers, Jules!

Evening All.....still sunny, rain later apparently so possibly no meteors this evening.

I did sell three metres of the fabrics I used to make the cushions and the notions to go with them. Also got asked if I would make some cushions for a woman who said she would pay me a fiver for each of them. Lady, they cost £7 to make at wholesale prices. And that's not including my time......

Absolutely shattered and I've still got to cook supper and clean the house.....I did want to finish sewing my other tea cosy this evening but I think that might be a disaster waiting to happen.

                      Evening all!

I'm trying to catch up with sewing after the Show weekend - pics on the 52wk thread, but as to my tally:

16 classes entered, 7 of these placed.

First for dwarf French bean. Second for rhubarb, heaviest spud, the Collection (well chuffed with this one!), courgettes. Third for fruit cake (big sis Helen won, Competitive, moi?).

And the other one? a First place for...................

                      oddest shaped veg!

VC it's more likely that they saw you tipping coffee down your cleavage and decided you weren't safe by yourself

If Mama H is full of energy she could come down here - I'll give her the vacuum cleaner and a duster

Three different suppers on the go - spaghetti bolognese for the boys, the BH is having cauli cheese (terribly upset system because of the new drugs - Sulfasalazine?) and I'm having baked cod in wine white & mustard sauce with cauli mash. Everything made from scratch.

No sewing because it's white wine'o'clock!

Go on then, I will - I've decided against doing the next round of fabric cutting for the peach quilt, as it's tricky on the bias stuff, and I don't think the pea-brain is up to it tonight!

Sounds like you had a right ditherer in the shop earlier. Although I do confess to spending ages choosing, then having to go out and have a walk round the block/cup of coffee before returning to confirming fabric selections. It's a lot of money to blow if you c*ck it up!

Right, risotto containing various Award Winning veg for me tonight - majoring on the courgettes, looking at the mountain in the kitchen...

Have fun, VC - enjoy your evening!

Ditto on the Mama H - I'll go buy new dusters, and get in the queue.

                                Oh, anyone got a fridge...
