Good pic showing those hairy leaves

No germination for me from the first 2 seeds. Decided to sow the other three rather than wait till next year, as even though it was very late, C.Pubs should be good prospects for overwintering.

Two of the second batch have now popped up after 23 days in a basic heated propagator.

      • Potted loads of chilli plants on yesterday. Home made compost so excuse all the egg shells...just a few, I'm still picking flowers off but I'm not gonna bother anymore!

The Orange hab that went straight into a large pot with a handful of chicken manure pellets looks none the worse for wear!

Black nagas are starting to flower heavily and a few good sized fruits are ripening

Royal Black - these are the most slow growing plants Ive ever had the misfortune to choose. I love the leaf colour and I really hope it produces something this side of Christmas

              • Ms-T, how big is the pot that you've got Aci Sivri in? And will you be able to move it ...?
I have one Ancho in a 10litre pot, which it seems to like. Just wondering if it was to go in a bigger pot if it would grow bigger .....

there was someone on utube who said the bigger the pot the better.try it and let us know.

I think I started well before you? A heated prop speeds up germination as well.
I usually use flower buckets but one of the videos earlier in this thread said go straight into the biggest pot you can and add some chicken manure pellets..it is a fair bit bigger than the other one that I potted up into the next size pot.

                              • Susie, has your local garden centre got a pot recycling? I get mine from places like that. Wilk@s also have some big pots.
