Trying to be positive. New academic year, new bit of plot. And the bloke hunt resumes.
HH you're bound to bump into Mr right one of these days probably when you're not looking that day.

Does sound painful PP so all the best for Thursday.

Glad its not only us that put things off, I've got a new bathroom sink gathering dust on my craft room floor that was going to be fitted in the bathroom the year before last.

          • I'm here too - quite tired tonight. Been digging and chopping, then planting lots of cheapo brassica seedlings. Its risky in the garden at the mo, apples keep falling on my head Blessed birds jump up and down on the branches trying to clobber me - makes a change from the sticky white stuff they usually bomb me with
Hope you've all had a good day - and those with aches and pains, swellings and bumps are soon healed

            • I'm OK thanks G4, but the dog's not. Fireworks going off at the moment - local Gala Day at Oulton Broad, and she hates them.

              • Know what you mean about the apples VC - I have the same problem. Huge old tree in the back garden and the apples get massive.

                • You hear that ominous rustle, then a great thump as the apple lands. I'm not often hit by one, but its blummin painful when you are All the ones that have come down so far are peck damaged not that I can reach them to pick anyway............Just seems such a waste on the bird's part - one peck and they've finished, move on to another one........

                  • Hope the fireworks are over soonest, RL - Oscar hates them, too. They've had a treat tonight, as we 'abandoned' them when we went out for a meal. They were let free in the Chook run, whilst I was putting the Chooks to bed. Oscar ran around like something demented (he does that...) and Roxy just scoffed as much Chook poo down her gullet as she could (she does that...) needles to say, it was a short treat! Just had to call Oscar in, and close the back door - he was barking at lights or imaginary bogey men, or sommat - Bless!

I have a Customer with a huge Oak tree, if I'm weeding near the canopy in the autumn, I have to wear a hat - ruddy acorns hurt like hell when they hit you on the head!

                            • Morning Flo and anyone else who is up and about.

Woke to the sound of the foghorn, but the sun is burning through the mist now. Definitely Autumnal out there this morning. Dew on spiderwebs, always reminds me of Autumn. Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness

                              • Not up and about but awake does that count? Last week of the holidays so really must make the most of it. Plenty to do but somehow lacking the get up and go. Make docs appointment for hurting elbow is one. Don't think it's going to get better on its own after two months.
