  • Morning burpday gal n'all!

Anyone fancy a mouse for breakfast?
Yup, that was my reward apparently for being so kind to Hinou this morning

Yeh...I live some of those ideas too SP- that tree built into the wall and car are fantastic aren't they?

Funnily enough I made and sold a couple of bee and ladybird O&Xs but mine were on pieces of slate.
    Great fun to make!

I think I'll copy a few of those simpler ideas for my garden!

    • Morning all,

Week is moving along nicely...Cycling home from work this evening, so hoping rain stays away....
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

      • Morning all. Brisk but plenty of shiney in the middle of Aberdeenshire this sunny morning. Have a 1200 x 800 mirror tohang in the lounge. Fixings are way above head height so can't do it myself. . My mate is on holiday too. The downside of moving to a new locale. No-one I know to ask for help yet. Ah well, her ladyship will just have to be my labourer when she gets home

        • Morning all, survived our visit to our Daughters, just.
We were invited over to sort out our holiday plans and have dinner.
No holiday plans were sorted out and we paid out over £25 for fish and chips for tea.
          How does that work eh?
This bipolar and medication is not funny.
Back to lovely home. A nice start to the day and the garden is looking great, hubby has spent a lot of time tidying up and the like.
Nothing planned yet, but they are the best days I think
          Have a lovely day folks

              • Morning AP and all
With the bar at the bottom of the page, there should be a "Close" button on the top of the bar. Last time it was an inch or two in from the right. If you run your cursor thingy along the line it should change to a ?hand, then click there.

                • Phew: Good Morning all..........

Late on parade today: took Toby on a dummy run of the walk across the field to meet his new veterinarian - he has had really bad experiences with his last vet, so when this new practice was set up earlier this year, thought I'd give them a try.

So, field just been ploughed - really deep, deep furrows ......Toby leaping and chasing across it - me puffing, panting, hobbling precariously along. I didn't need me coat!!!!

Then we had to do it all over again for his 8.30 appointment ......
Took us half an hour, but worth the effort to settle my troubled pooch ...!

So, we got on well, he was given something for his upset tummy and we've to go back when he's better for his booster. A far, far more relaxed experience - for both of us ...!!! (purse though now feels a lot, lot lighter ...... )

Have a lovely day all - glad you got what you wanted for your birthday SP..!!

                    • Good luck with hanging the mirror AP, I would suggest that you cover the mirror glass with newspaper, just in case you look into the glass and decide to leave it to the fellow on the other side,VC your computer skills are far better than mine, I thought a cursor was someone who uses strong language and Susie you should get in contact with Hazel to ft your fitness level up, I would have helped you but your to far away for that

                        • Good afternoon Folks, watching the oldest grandsons, they are of an age where they can do things for themselves, but not old enough to be left themselves, and my daughter's garden is grass and chips, so nothing to do had to turn my hearing aid down, why do children always want to hear the programs while in an other room, my leg is still sore I thought it would be cleared up by now just hope every thing is ok. Well I am off to browse through the Vine and have a read of AP instructions for growing onions, I have looked through it before thank goodness he made it simple to follow, so thanks AP.

Wow! these are brilliant - so lucky to have people with the ability to think up these ideas to share with non artistic types like myself - I'll pass them on to the school - I'm sure they will be delighted to see them

After a full mornings work one large bed is now split into two with a bark covered path in the middle. The left hand bed is now ready for planting the overwinter onion sets as I put in fish, blood and bone just before the rain came on heavy late this afternoon. The right hand bed is weed although still plenty of stones to be cleared.

                              • Good evening all. Went back to the eye specialist this morning and she said she was very pleased with my tests. I was hoping to go out walking in the afternoon but it turned into a really miserable day. Its been raining since lunch time so I decided to make chilli chutney instead. Very pleased with thr results.
